Applicants who obtain a work permit under the C-11 are potentially eligible to receive up to 250 additional points towards their Federal Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score. These extra points may place them at the top of the pool of candidates for Express Entry and maximize the possibility for the candidate to receive an "Invitation to apply" for Canadian permanent residence within the Canadian Experience Class of the Express Entry stream. This makes the C-11 Work Permit a highly attractive option for business people. The C-11 Program is an LMIA exempt Work permit potentially allowing you to qualify for Canadian Permanent Residency. This Program is for Business immigrants who are interested in investing in Canada by establishing their own business or buying an existing business.
A business person who is looking to start a new business or to open a franchise with. This requires CAN$50,000 + your investment.

- Become a majority shareholder of an active Canadian Company (we will share with you existing business opportunities)
